Lonnie first started eating at Italia Pizza Café in 2004. It was not long before he was hooked. He was telling everyone he saw how great the pizzas were at Italia. Lonnie knew that one of the main reasons for the quality of the pizza at Italia was Nelson Santos, the talented chef. Nelson is passionate about his pizzas and will not accept anything less than the freshest ingredients prepared with the utmost of care, and baked up in stone hearth ovens. The restaurant became available in 2005 and Lonnie could not pass on the opportunity. He jumped in, eventually retiring from a highly successful car sales career to devote his full attention to Italia. Rodney McGuire joined the team in August of 2005 as a business partner. The business has continued to grow as Italia handles the concessions at the Strike Zone Bowling Alley located at Snowden Park, as well as the newest location in Olive Branch. We vow to serve our customers a top notch dining experience every time they sit down to our table. They are going to get the freshest food, cooked with the greatest care. If our customers are not happy we are not happy, so please let us know how we are doing. Our main objective is making your dining experience a GREAT ONE.
